Trinity Heating Fund
Holy Trinity Christmas Fair 2011
A huge thank you to everyone who helped out and supported our Christmas fair over the weekend. We had a fantastic array of goodies on sale, as well as the usual mouth watering refreshments thanks to our many bakers, soup chef and sandwich makers. Together we raised a grand total of £1,496.65! Well done everyone for a fantastic result.
The 2011 Pantomime
Many thanks to everyone who supported our pantomime, the emotional rollercoaster that was Charles Dickens' reworked masterpiece "Oliver with a Twist". We enjoyed thrills and spills, all accompanied by some favourite songs with Richard on the keyboard and Phil on the guitar. It was a great laugh... especially the "Twist" - and we raised £800 towards our heating fund! Hope to see you all at next year's star studded production... watch this space!
Holy Trinity Market Stall
Many thanks to everyone who helped with the Holy Trinity market stall on Wednesday 3rd August. Various 'Aladdins' had emptied their lofts to provide bric a brac in plenty, the cakes and preserves tempted the tatebuds of a great many good folk, the sun shone on us and we had a great time. Thanks to a generous donation we made a grand total of five hundred pounds towards our heating fund! Well done everyone. Esther x
Losing lbs for £'s Between 1st of February and 1st August 2011 our curate Rev'd Darryl Hall decided to loose weight in order to raise money for Holy Trinity's heating fund. On the 1st of February Darryl weighed in at 16st 7lbs on the 1st of August he weighed in at 14 stone exactly. He was hoping to reach 13 stone by the 1st August but maintains that he will carry on with his weight loss until he reaches his goal.

Holy Trinity's Summer Strawberries 17th July 2011
Thanks to everyone who supported our 'Summer Strawberries'. Even the rain couldn't dampen our spirits! A fabulous time was had by all... watch out Betty's! Special thanks to Brian and Dot for their kind hospitality and fabulous eats. We made £348 for our heating fund. Well done everyone!
Holy Trinity Garden Party 5th June
Holy Trinity was the place to be on Sunday 5thof June as friends old and new sampled the delights of our annual Garden Party. We were blessed with sunshine for the Teddy Bears’ Picnic, with prizes awarded by our Mayor and Mayoress, Andrew and Christine Willoughby. Congratulations to the favoured teddies! No one went hungry thanks to a wonderful array of cakes and savouries created by the bakers and confectioners of our congregation and pals. Prizes galore were to be had from the raffle, tombola and bottle tombola; well done to the lucky winners. The bric a brac, books and preserves almost flew off the stalls, whilst the wonderful aroma from handmade lavender bags and sleep pillows added a touch of relaxation to the proceedings. Outside fun was to be had with the Hearing Dogs (and their people!), Ralph’s plant stall, the outdoor games and, last but never least, the bouncy castle! Together we raised the grand total of £1,013 (for our heating fund) and had a lot of laughs. Thank you to everyone who came and supported this event, and looking forward to seeing you next year!
