Songs of Praise comes to Knaresborough

In 2010 Knaresborough enjoyed the company of Aled Jones and the filming crew of Songs of Praise. St. John's, Knaresborough is our biggest church and so the show was filmed in there. There were two filmings one which featured Maundy Thursday and the connection that Knaresborough has with it being the first place that the Royal Maundy money was distributed by King John. The second show focused on the Great Knaresborough Bed Race. I found these videos on youtube for you to enjoy.
