ST. JOHN'S CHOIR RECRUITMENT

At the moment, St John's (Knaresborough) is fortunate in having a very musically-talented front-line of boys and girls.

New recruits are always welcome and in order to safeguard our tradition here at St. John's please will you do all in your power to encourage youngsters between the ages of 8-11 to join us.

There are many benefits of membership: a free musical education, opportunities to sing in Cathedrals both here and abroad, instrumental and vocal tuition at concessionary rates, coaching for Royal School of Music Awards and Associated Board of Examinations and above all a great social fellowship to mention but a few. Please contact me (Richard Darke) on 01423 864626 or 07761501819

We have four successful candidates in the recent RSCM Awards: Alice Harmer and Caitlin Mawhinney (Bishop's) and Amber Hunter and Charlotte Harrison (Dean's).

The girls received their Awards at the Cathedral at Evensong, Saturday, 5th. June.
