St. John's Sunday School

Sunday School at St. John the Baptist in Knaresborough is a well established and well attended group. Children meet for an hour in the Church Hall starting at 10:30am. We welcome children from reception age upwards. Pre-school children are very welcome but we ask that a parent/carer stays as well. We usually follow a format of a story and a prayer, some singing and then a craft, game or other related activity. In the summer we like to go outside as much as possible. The children are gently introduced to church life through attending the latter part of the service for a blessing and then telling the congregation what they have been learning and making that day - always a proud moment for parents in the congregation!
