THE PARISH VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT

The Church of England in the Parish of Knaresborough aims to present the Christian Gospel in such a way that it may be known and joyfully experienced by everyone.

The Knaresborough Benefice comprises four churches combined into a single parish: two village churches, St John the Baptist, Brearton and St Mary the Virgin, Goldsborough, and two town churches, Holy Trinity and St. John’s Parish Church.

At Goldsborough, a thriving village church at the heart of the community, our regular Sunday worship, usually at 9.00 am., covers a wide variety of styles - something for everyone! :

1st Sunday in the month 9.00 am. Book of Common Prayer Holy Communion (traditional language)
2nd Sunday in the month 9.00 am. All-age Eucharist (informal, modern language)
3rd, 4th & 5th Sundays in the month 9.00 am. Sung Eucharist (modern language)
